  • 500 g fresh fettuccine
  • 4 litres water
  • 500 g fresh fettuccine
  • 250 g melted butter
  • 150 g parmesan freshly grated
  • 3 tbsp salt
  1. Bring a large pasta pan of water to the boil.
  2. When the water is boiling add 3 tablespoons of salt.
  3. Add the fettuccine and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Whilst the pasta is cooking, melt your butter in a medium sized bowl and add the parmesan.
  5. Mix until the cheese almost dissolves, and forms a smooth cream, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Drain the pasta leaving just a small amount of water and toss the fettuccine with the Alfredo sauce.
  7. If you're a real cheese lover serve with extra parmesan grated on top.
