Pesto Sauce can be used in a variety of recipes so keep some to hand at all times.

Ingredients

extra virgin olive oil

fresh basil
leaves picked

pine nuts
very lightly toasted

parmesan cheese
freshly grated
1
cloves
to 2 garlic
sea salt
freshly ground black pepper
squeeze of lemon
optional
Instructions
Add the basil, toated pine nuts and garlic to a food processor and start to process
Gradually start adding the olive oil down the funnel
When blended to your desired consistency stir in the parmesan
Season to taste
